On January 30, 2015, the Asset Management Association of China awarded Shenzhen Dingyifeng Asset Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dingyifeng Group, the Private Investment Fund Manager Registration. As shown in the document, Mr. Sui Guangyi, Chairman of the Group, becomes the official fund manager registered under the Asset Management Association of China, which makes the Group “a financial institution which is allowed to conduct private securities investments, equity investments, venture capital funds and other licensed business”. Upon receiving the license, Shenzhen Dingyifeng Asset Management Co., Ltd. will fully venture into the field of asset management and it’s no longer a third-party wealth manager.
Private Investment Fund Manager Registration is a document issued in accordance with the rules and regulations of Securities Investment Fund Law and authorized by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, with the purpose of regulating businesses related to private investment funds, so as to protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors and promote the vigorous development of private investment fund industry. Currently, private equity funds is playing an important role in boosting actual economy and encouraging business set-up, as China undergoes a deepening reform and vigorous growth. The issuance of Private Investment Fund Manager Registration to investment management institutions is a significant milestone for our domestic securities industry and capital market, signifying that the domestic securities industry is moving towards the next new level of development.
